We are a Bible-believing, Christ-centred church seeking to point everyone to the Lord Jesus Christ. There are three descriptions that summarize our church – biblical preaching, sound doctrine, and Christian community.
We are a family of Christ-followers, saved only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. We seek to live for the honour of God, through the power of Christ. We believe that the Word of God is foundational to everything that we do (2 Timothy 3:15-16). We are committed to the faithful preaching of the Word of God, sound doctrine, and biblical application.
Since we also believe that the Christian life is not to be lived in isolation, but in the context of community, our goal through our relationships is to nurture and strengthen one another to grow in the likeness of Jesus. In Christ we love to worship the Lord, study God’s Word, pray for one another, laugh, sing, play, and eat together.
At Westmount Bible Chapel, we are striving to be Christ-followers that live and learn together, passionately committed to being equipped for God’s purposes through God’s Word (Ephesians 4:12-13).
