The Gospel Coalition has an official regional chapter in Ontario, Canada. Our hope and prayer is to see God bring together people from all across our region committed to gospel-centered ministry for the next generation.
Through prayerful collaboration, we long to see the gospel strengthen our churches, reach the lost, and shine brightly in our communities—all to the glory of God. This chapter provides a place where you can find like-minded believers who share the beliefs outlined in our Foundation Documents. The goal is to develop gospel-centered friendships with others—to pray for each other, and strategize how we can best reach this area with the gospel.
The Ontario Chapter of The Gospel Coalition held its first regional conference on April 24, 2010, at West Highland Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ontario, and it's second regional conference, May 29-31, 2012, at Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.
The theme of the second conference was "The Priority of the Gospel". Plenary speakers Don Carson, John Neufeld and Stephen Um addressed this topic using Philippians 1-4. The purpose of both conferences was to bring pastors and Christian leaders into an awareness of their responsibility for gospel-centered ministry and to challenge them to be faithful in exemplifying this in their ministries.
A third conference was held October 16-17, 2015. at Young Nak Korean Presbyterian Church of Toronto, Check out the info about this event posted under resources.
