W2 Pastor-historian: Arnold Dallimore Biographer of revival

October 16, 2015 Speaker: Ian Clary Series: 2015 Workshops

Topic: 2015 Conference

Arnold Dallimore is often known for his important two-volume biography of the transatlantic revivalist George Whitefield, but he saw his first calling as a pastor. His friendships with Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Iain Murray in the UK, which eventually birthed his famous written works, made him a name on both sides of the Atlantic. In this talk we consider Dallimore's life and ministry, and pay special attention to his writings on revival.

Ian ClaryIan Hugh Clary (Ph.D.) is a pastoral assistant at West Toronto Baptist Church and a Fellow with The Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies.
